On 18 December 2009, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) the harmonized standard for CE Marking for precast concrete joists, establishing that, from January 1, 2010 begins the period of coexistence or voluntary period for obtaining the CE mark, and from January 1, 2011 shall enter into force on a mandatory basis.
