In the field of compulsory certification, AIDICO is a controlling body with regard to the application of the Royal Decree 605/2006, which requires homologation of cements not subject to CE Marking and authorisation of centres distributing all cement types.

AIDCO’s work consists of carrying out an initial inspection of the cement factory or distribution centre and initial testing of the cement and its components, if applicable, in accordance with UNE EN 197-2:2000. If the work is carried out satisfactorily, AIDICO issues a Regulatory Requirements Conformity Certificate for cements not subject to CE Marking (click here) or an Authorisation Certificate for distribution centres working with all cement types (click here), which will remain valid as long as it is not withdrawn or cancelled as a result of action taken due to non conformity, with up to a limit of twelve months.
