From our web, I'd like to welcome you to AIDICO, Technological Institute of Construction. AIDICO is a center aimed at contributing to the modernization of the construction sector in general and of its high number of small and medium-sized industrial and construction associated companies in particular.
Since AIDICO was founded 12 years ago, we have invested all our efforts, hopes and hard work in building up a broad range of facilities equipped with modern technical resources, thereby enabling us to achieve our objectives. The recent creation of two technical units - one for safety and one for marble – are proof of our efforts and are now part of the wide range of specialised technical services we offer to companies, governments and other bodies related to the construction sector. The aim of this is to create a technologically advanced sector that provides answers to social demands for safety, sustainability, quality and comfort in housing and infrastructures.
Our goals however go beyond this and since we are fully determined on supporting SMEs, we are working to set up two new technical units: The Fire Technical Unit and the Acoustic Technical Unit. Through these Units we strive to provide coverage against the current legal and regulatory demands that are continuously arising from the different local, autonomic, national and international spheres, which directly affect the companies in our sector.
Aidico boasts a multidisciplinary staff who serve as an information feed and aim to provide companies and our associates with the latest technological and scientific breakthroughs from different research fields. Our participation in different work groups, collaboration with other institutions and daily contact with various governmental departments make our Institute a centre of reference for the latest trends in the sector.
I therefore invite you to visit our website so you can get to know us better and I encourage you to collaborate with us in this rewarding task of making the construction business a safe, innovative and highly competitive sector.
