Integral Energy EfficiencyThe stance of the Sustainable Construction Area on energy efficiency is to assess and develop strategies, both passive and active, to enable a reduction in energy consumption while maintaining present standards for comfort, as well as analysing the feasibility and suitability of integrating renewable energies in construction.
The goal is to avoid the excessive squandering of money produced by buildings during their use through energy efficiency measures adapted to the situation, the setting and type of building.
Important Note
This area will not carry out any activity that could lead to a conflict of interests with the Institute’s work as a Control Body, with regard to the products assessed, in accordance with ENAC requirements laid out in PE-ENAC-OC/01.
