AIDICO is the only organisation to have obtained official recognition by the Ministry of Public Works for its concrete CV Marking. Recognition was granted for its concrete quality CV Marking, in accordance with section 6 in Annexe 19 of the EHE-08 Regulations for Structural Concrete (Instrucción de Hormigón Estructural EHE-08) passed in the Royal Decree 1247/2008, on July 18.

In this respect, concretes having the CV Marking from Aidico will be able to benefit from the special conditions laid out in the EHE regulations for works that are still governed by EHE-98, as well as new construction works that are covered by EHE-08

Among the advantages of having the CV Marking for Concrete, we can highlight the following:

• It is currently the only distinguishing sign of quality recognised by the Department of Public Works.
• It enables a reduction in the number of quality control tests for on-site reception of concrete.
• It guarantees that the manufacturing quality of concrete is controlled by an Independent External Body recognised by the central government.
• It means greater commitment to the environment as there is more control over the production process.
• It aids companies to obtain the only definitive distinctive mark that can be used starting from January 1, 2011.
